Contract Administrator - Roofing & Glazing

Job description / Role

A large complex project set at $2,960 million, covering all construction and utilities. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of this landmark project.

Sub Contract Administrator

Coordination and management of the sub-contract process, managing packages within Roofing, Glazing and Cladding.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Understand the scope of work for each Subcontractor as per Subcontract.
2. Assist in preparation of Subcontract Agreements, Letters of Award & Supply Agreements.
3. Assist in Contract & Commercial administration of Finishes Subcontractors.
4. Assist with correspondence to/from subcontractors.
5. Detailed analysis of progress for Work Package.
6. Check Work Inspection Request (WIR) and Material Inspection Request (MIR).
7. Checking sub-contract payment applications and claims to ensure compliance with sub-contract.
8. Perform site visits to clarify Subcontractors Payment Application.
9. Evaluate Interim Payment Applications received from Sub-contractors and prepare payment certificates.
10. Update monthly payment & subcontract liability logs.
11. Assess Subcontract Variations & value engineering.
12. Working with V.O. QS to identify variations to subcontract works.
13. Assisting V.O. QS to obtain subcontract pricing for variations.
14. Double check Bulletins and highlight changes.
15. Assist in identifying Subcontractor claims.
16. Attend Subcontractors commercial and progress meetings.
17. Coordination with other departments to carry out the above tasks.
