Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Prepares/review report and forecast, including summary of construction progress, job manpower forecasts.
Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and procedure.
Responsible for the implementation of company/project policies, procedures and instructions within assigned operations.
Ensure all safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied within assigned area of responsibility.
Overseas the implementation of project / MOC packages, from approval to work thru package closeout and post maintenance testing.
Work with design engineers & MOC originators to coordinate implementation activities.
Work with operating personnel to coordinate implementation activities.
Provides oversight of field activities to ensure personnel safety.
Keeps project management informed of project status, highlighting deviations from plan.
Anticipate potential problem areas and solicit recommendations from Project Engineering for solutions or corrective actions.
Responsible for oversight of Field Construction operations within assigned area.
Determine/review/reports manpower requirement for field activities.
Monitors schedule work to be performed and reviews work completion
Prepare/review schedule, construction method and procedures as assigned.
Sign T&M timesheets for un-defined work and reports additional work request to project engineer assigned.
Conduct pre-construction meeting with contractor, engineer, Operations representative and safety discussing expectations from all parties involved in Project or MOC.
Arrange safety training meeting with EHS and contractor to ensure safety compliance requirements are understood.

Requirements

Diploma / Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience in Petrochemical Plant Mechanical Field Construction / MOC.
Ability to execute and construct engineered projects.
Order, inspect and receive materials.
Knowledge of SAP, MS Office and Primavera scheduling requirements.
Generate weekly project status reports.
Able to communicate with multinational work force.
