ERP Project Implementation Specialist / Project Manager

Job description / Role

JOB PURPOSE:

To roll out, lead, manage and provide technical and functional support for a large ERP system including both front-end and back-end modules. Manage a large cross function team including functional and technical resources from various business units and vendor ensuring ERP project activities are executed as per the scope and plan.

JOB SCOPE:

- Assist in implementation of ERP system along with the vendor.
- Fully understand ERP system and tightly integrate with companys business process and function.
- Provide technical support and train end users.
- Manage daily operations, including other software support.
- Support client team and stakeholders in understanding project best practice as implemented in the ERP program office and implications of any variations/changes.
- Ensure all team members understand their accountabilities and responsibilities, Eg. Via organization diagrams, RACI tables and deliverables tracking sheets.
- Be the main point of contact with all team members, stakeholders and ERP suppliers for all project management and project office issues.
- Perform other duties as requested by reporting line managers / supervisors.
- Ensure timely issues identification, resolution and appropriate escalation.
- Ensure the client policies, procedures and code of conduct are followed at all times.
- Providing project management related recommendations, options and pros/cons (impact assessments) on potential changes to ERP implementation scope and functional solutions.

Requirements

SOFTWARE SKILLS :

- C#.NET, VISUAL BASIC.NET, ASP.NET, Project Management Tools, Software Testing Tools, JAVA Scripts, Frameworks.
- Oracle developer 10g, SQL-Server 2008.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences
- Post graduate degree will be advantageous
- Professional Certifications will be preferred

- Experience : 8 10 years in leading corporate systems in multinational companies with minimum three (03) successful implementations. Hands-on experience in managing system integrators and vendors and in dealing with Executives and Top Management. Proven experience in change management and process re-engineering and working in multicultural environment.

- Exposure to the core and supportive business processes viz. Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Production, Contracting, Finance, HR and Payroll.
