Warehouse & Yard Manager

Job description / Role

Marine construction company seeking an experienced warehouse/yard manager to run its warehouse, yard and production team.

Role will entail managing the company's warehouse and yard including:
- Ensuring smooth operation and layout of warehouse and yard
- Overseeing production of marine barriers and quality control
- Ensuring adequate HSE in warehouse and yard
- Handling equipment and machinery maintenance
- Handling incoming and outgoing deliveries (including project mobilisation)
- Keeping up to date stock/inventory
- Managing warehouse and yard staff

Requirements

This is a new role for a young but growing company and there is potential to expand and grow the role. Preferred candidate should be experienced, motivated and independent and should show strong initiative. Manufacturing and /or machinery/mechanical experience would be an advantage.
