Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of all resources in order to conduct maintenance activities on the Floating Dry Docks and associated Buildings with the objective of minimising downtime and maximising productivity. The role will require you to develop and maintain the Maintenance Planning System, create cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work and be responsible for the up-keep and accuracy of equipment maintenance history, spares inventory and job records.
Additionally the Maintenance Planning Supervisor will deputise for the Project Manager in his absence.

Monitor progress against the agreed plans and schedules and report discrepancies to the Project Manager and agree corrective actions with the maintenance personnel in order to minimize the impact on the Facilities.
Attend weekly/monthly Operations meetings.
Detailed planning and preparation of all maintenance activities.
To review and develop a Planned Maintenance System ensuring the content is correct, completion times are specified and the frequency of inspections reflect the utilization of individual equipment.
Preparation of weekly & monthly maintenance reports to the Client.
To present daily and weekly KPI's on maintenance performance to the Project Manager.
Participate in El-Seif Performance Management Reviews, demonstrating a commitment to continued professional development.
Follow and gain 100% compliance for all Company Health & Safety and security policies and procedures; reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Proven Managerial skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels.
You will be methodical; a self-starter and able to work on your own initiative
Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised.
Has good attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Proven ability to manage own workload.
Logical and well organized
Minimum 15 years of experience as a Maintenance Planner in either a Facilities Management or Shipyard environment.

Have an understanding of Facilities Management/Operations and Maintenance requirements.
Competent in the use of IT including business procedures, maintenance management systems and Microsoft packages.
Solid understanding of management requirements.
Planning, analytical and reporting skills.
Technical background preferably in a Marine/Shipyard environment.
Good communication skills.
