Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a leading design/contractor looking for a Quantity Surveyor in Morocco.

Pre-Contract Duties:
* Measuring and Take Off from drawings.
* Understanding of ID related specifications.
* Preparing Bill of Quantities from the above.
* Issuing Tender packages to Subcontractors / Suppliers.
* Evaluation of Tenders.
* Ability to negotiate with Subcontractors / Suppliers regarding Tenders.
* Preparation and finalisation of Subcontract agreements.

Post-Contract Duties:
* Measuring and progress on site.
* Preparation of monthly Payment Certificates for Subcontractors / Suppliers.
* Preparation of monthly Payment Applications for submission to Clients.
* Evaluation of Variations from Subcontractors / Suppliers.
* Preparation of Variations for submission to Clients.
* Preparation of Final Account for Subcontractors / Suppliers.
* Preparation of and submission of Final Account to Clients.

Requirements

Education and Qualifications:
* Diploma/Degree from a recognised university.
* Excellent oral and written French/English.
* Experience in high end ID / Fit Out works.
* Minimum 7 years experience of which 3 has been spent in the GCC.
* Self motivated, organised and possessing a good level of attention to detail.
* Ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
* Understanding of general Conditions of Contract.
* Proficient in MS Office.
