Provide necessary planning techniques and deliverables to company and to client team. Also, provide guidance in developing and adopting a practical progress measurement method and structure, aligning with the Plans WBS, and establish planning deliverables. This position will be reporting to Planning Manager.

Using your experience with Primavera your key responsibilities will include:
1. Work Breakdown Structure & Work Order Structure development
2. Understand the scope of the project.
3. Identifying the best series of events in the correct order for the project to finish on time and on budget.
4. Presenting the schedules to others in the company and in client organization involved in the project.
5. Schedule development using our clients specific project and design methodologies
6. Conduct schedule development meetings with Drafts-persons, Engineers and Project Managers to develop and define schedule scope as project matures
7. Coordination of vendors schedules into the master schedule
8. Monitoring the progress of the project at different stages of its development.
9. Reporting on schedule progress, critical path and critical tasks
10. Provide budgeting and forecasting assistance to the Project Management Team
11. Work within standard project planning/scheduling procedures. Ensure that these procedures comply with contractual reporting requirements and, if not, modify accordingly.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years project planning experience within the Middle East essential
* Engineering Graduate
* Conceptual understanding of planning theory, i.e critical path, delay, concurrence.
* Practical experience in the creation of Extension of Time and Delay claims and must be able to demonstrate where and how you have done this.
* Experience creating a plan from scratch.
* Must have proven track record of advancement within a major contractor
