Planning Engineer - Contractor - Planner - Qatar

Job Title: Planning Engineer
Salary: 22,000 - 30,000 QAR + Medical + Tickets
Location: Doha, Qatar
Project: Contractor

Our client is one of the largest Contractor companies within the Middle East. As Planning Engineer you will be a part of a team of 7 planners for a 26 Billion QAR project, connecting the Pall Mall road in Doha to the Palace. A successful candidate must be capable of preparing a fully resourced clause programme using Primavera 6 Rev 8.

Duties:
- Establish and maintain schedule baselines and ensure project control mechanisms are in place to monitor performance.
- Working closely with the client, sub consultants and main contractors.
- Review overall project status with the Project Management team and recommend corrective action where necessary.
- Responsible for managing the Project Planning & Project Controls team, reporting to the Operations Director.

Requirements

Requirements:
- Primavera 6 experience
- 4-6 years planning experience within an engineering role
- Highway experience essential
- Contractor background
- Available for immediate start
