Job description / Role
An exciting opportunity exists within a leading international consultancy for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team. You will be working on multi-million projects in Doha, Qatar.
The company provides innovative and progressive design solutions to clients and they are keen to hire an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer. Who will be client facing with a capacity for design and reporting directly to the Head of Department
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing multi-disciplined teams to deliver complex designs to the highest of international standards
- Prepare project initiation, planning documents and project management plans
- Lead and control design activities from design development, compliance, value engineering etc
- Coordination with the Client, local authorities and the project management company
- Ensuring design and technical excellence throughout
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- You must have a BA/Msc in Mechanical engineering or other relevant discipline
- Ideally be charted
- You must have 7+ years of relevant experience
- Previous consultancy based experience
- This position would suit a dynamic, client focused and personable
- Technically strong Mechanical Engineer with previous people, project and client management experience
