Our client is a leader for fashion and lifestyle destinations in the Middle East, housing some of the worlds most coveted designers from around the globe. The brand is renowned for personalised service, exclusivity & luxury, contemporary design and also for its pioneering spirit. Launched as the UAEs first high fashion multi-brand concept, with 3 major operations across the GCC.

They are seeking a Head of Marketing & PR with Luxury Multi Brand experience. With this senior level role you will be reporting to the CEO & Co CEO and will be responsible for developing and driving comprehensive marketing and PR strategy for the Group companies.

Responsibilities:
- Identify market trends and opportunities to suggest and execute new Marketing & PR initiatives
- Work collaboratively with Retail, E-Commerce and Buying to deliver world class, highly innovative and customer engaging campaigns aligned to the brand image and objectives
- Set direction to Marketing and PR Managers to execute creative brand activations, store openings, campaign roll-outs, product launches ensuring planning and execution meet the overall strategy
- Ensure Marketing and PR are aligned and support each other in all activities
- Prepare, propose and manage annual Marketing and PR calendars aligned to marketing calendar of mono brands and seasonal collection launches
- Develop and implement preferred standard operating practices, systems and quality standards: define, communicate and manage clear and consistent guidelines and processes for the Marketing& PR team to follow
- Conduct and/or contribute to weekly team and management meetings to highlight key development areas and outline action plans
- Liaise with international and local brands/suppliers in various marketing aspects
- Build and develop strategic brand and marketing partnerships, maintaining relationships with key partners and platforms (brands, media, agencies, contractors, venues etc.)
- Manage international and local media visits for photo shoots and on-going media projects
- Initiate, build and maintain press relations with relevant media to maximize exposure for the companys benefit
- Actively seek new PR opportunities to generate further brand exposure and capitalize on media spending
- Ensure regular PR coverage and space in relevant publications
- Develop and maintain checklist of PR tools for brand publicity in the stores and/or other locations
- Proof copy of marketing and PR collaterals before printing
- Oversee quality of produced promotional materials
- Ensure liaison with store managers in carrying out promotional activities and in-store events
- Own the tracking and analysis of campaigns, share learning outcomes from activities
- Support administering of marketing & PR budget, procedures and best practice
- Report weekly on activities/highlights/issues/results

Management & Execution of the following activities:
- In-store promotion activities
- Marketing events
- Product projects (launches, promotions etc.)
- All PR and social media activities
- Loyalty program
- Music
- Marketing archive management (customer database, POP etc.)

Requirements

- Solid generalist marketing experience at senior management level, preferably in luxury fashion and franchise retail with a track record in communications planning, knowledge of consumer PR is a bonus
- Experience in managing multiple brands and marketing projects at a time in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
- Creative thinker with the ability to utilize new market developments and technology
- Ability to drive performance and negotiate at a senior level with confidence and impact
- Experience in integrating digital and social media in campaign activity; knowledge of digital media, and experience in working with media and creative agencies
- Strong understanding of digital measurement tools and basic understanding of analytics, with the ability to translate data into insight and strategy
- Strong track record of demonstrating ROI against marketing initiatives.
