IT Manager

Job description / Role

- Formulating and developing IT Operations strategy and plans that support whole of agency operations and align with corporate and IT Directorate objectives
- Leading and managing a number of customer facing IT service delivery functions to a diverse range of customers, including IT Service Desk, technical support services, asset management and information management
- Leading the transition of completed projects as they move from development to ongoing delivery
- Actively contribute to the collective outcomes of the IT Management Team
- Delivery of the IT programs and project outcomes, focusing on: Implementing new approaches to infrastructure and communication services
- Service delivery improvements to meet changing business needs

Requirements

* Minimum of 10 years of IT experience with at least 3 years of exposure to managing onshore and offshore teams
* Must have a thorough understanding of ITIL frameworks
* Strong knowledge in Network and Security (IP, Routing, Wan Switches, VPN etc)
* Ability to work in a 24/7 support environment
* Strong communicator, ability to delegate duties to team members as well as provide support to C-Level Executives
* Must be from a banking background
