Quality Control Inspector (B-Shop)

We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector, B-Shop to perform critical compliance inspections during the execution of corrective and preventive maintenance routines to ensure quality standards for vehicle / equipment serviceability / operationally readiness is, as a minimum, met. Execute the QMS system focusing on continuous process improvements driven by customer requirements. Document quality findings / prepare quality reports.

The major duties and responsibilities of this vacancy are :
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled QC checks during preventive maintenance routines.
- Conduct unscheduled QC checks during corrective maintenance routines.
- Assist maintenance personnel with verification of incoming and outgoing vehicle / equipment serviceability / operational readiness condition.
- Interact directly with the internal customer to resolve quality related issues.
- Document quality findings and prepare recommended corrective and preventive action(s) when required to correct non-conformance to the company quality management system.
- Assist with preparation for and conduct of external audits.
- Perform other duties as required by immediate Supervisor.

Requirements

The minimum qualifications required to fill this vacancy are:
* Automotive Technician Certification is preferred
* Internal Auditor Certification is preferred.
* 2-3 years experience as a mechanic in automotive / truck / bus maintenance and repair environment.
* 2-4 years previous experience as a QC Inspector in an automotive maintenance or manufacturing facility.
Able to read and interpret technical manuals.
* Knowledge and use of shop equipment, automated and manual.
* Demonstrated ability to verify accuracy of finished product.
* Able to produce documents at an advanced level using Microsoft software applications, and to create email correspondence independently.
* Rounded knowledge of auditing procedures.
* Knowledge / use of CMMS packages is preferred.
* Good English oral, reading and written communication skills.
* Able to produce clear, concise written reports (findings and recommendations) in English.
* Able to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel in a multi-cultural environment.
* Have, or be able to obtain, a valid UAE drivers license.
