Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1) Create and Maintain the SP3D Project Data base and Project Plant structure
2) Responsible for Managing the Project Plant structure
3) Manage the project SP3D set up and customization activities.
4) Manage the installation of SP-3D software and related software on user workstations and manage the use of licenses among users
5) Administer SP3D user Licenses
6) Schedule and validate all SP3D data base back-ups for the project
7) Create and Maintain Plot files
8) Creation and maintenance of Orthographic Drawing set up to meet client requirements
9) Creation and maintenance of isometric drawing set up and isometric trouble shooting
10) Recovery of files as requested by the project
11) Responsible for all SP3D and SP3D related CAD software including support and configuration of the following
- PIPING, structural, Electrical, Equipment (all disciplines)
- interference detection
- Smart plant review
- Drawing template creation and customization of all discipline deliverables
- Creation and Maintenance of SP3D reference Data catalogs
12) Interface with additional related software such as Smart Plant Instrumentation, Smart Plant P&ID, Smart Plant Engineering Manager, Smart Plant Electrical, Smart Plant Foundation, Micro station. Ability to carry out the administration activities for these additional software such as SPPID/SPI/SP Electrical is also essential

Requirements

- Hold a Bachelors Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline.
- Have at least 8-10 years experience as an SP3D Administrator with a reputed engineering organization in the oil and Gas industry, preferably in the Middle East working as a SP3D Administrator for the projects of companies such as Saudi Aramco, ADNOC Group of Companies.
- Should have undergone training for all the SP3D administration modules conducted by INTERGRAPH.
- Well versed in the various aspects of Plant design for the oil and Gas industry in a 3D Model environmental
- Be computer literate in Microsoft packages and required software packages for role.
- Be conversant and knowledgeable with respect to current and new legislation and standards.
