Job description / Role

Reporting to the Group CFO the Property CFO is responsible for the overall finance function of the this UAE based business, including feasibility studies, consolidation and commercial finance.

Role description:
- Reporting to the Group CFO the Property CFO is responsible for the overall finance function of the this UAE based business, including feasibility studies, consolidation and commercial finance in Dubai
- The property CFO - Arabic speaking will ensure that assets across the region are maintained effectively from a risk perspective. Furthermore this role will be charged with business feasibility studies for expansion of the business.
- The Property CFO will have 6 direct reports across FP & A, Consolidation, regional finance team leads x 2, IT, and Legal.
- Furthermore this role will be the business partner to the CEO of the Property business and provide sound finance framework for all major decision.

Requirements

- Arabic speaking is essential to the role. Candidates must be able to read, write and speak Arabic fluently as most contracts and contacts to this role will be performed in Arabic.
- Min 12 years post accounting qualification experience
- Currently the Head of a Finance Function, covering FP &A, Financial Account, Legal and IT for a real estate or property function
- Extensive experience with IFRS
- Experience in joint ventures in real estate and the feasibility studies that support them
- Degree in a Commercial area
- Demonstrable success in building talent
