Job description / Role
Arcadis has a growing capability in Saudi Arabia to provide project management support to clients in the Infrastructure and Utilities Sectors.
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience in infrastructure and utilities.
The initial contract will be to head up our project team on site delivering a headline water project in the Holy City of Mecca in Saudi Arabia, so water experience would be advantageous.
In parallel with this commission the Project Manager will work with regional business leaders on other expanding opportunities in Saudi Arabia to develop work in the infrastructure and utility sectors.
Key Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Working with in country and out of country in-house consultants, managing the planning and design of water supply and treatment facilities for the Makkah Project
- Preparation and delivery of water supply master plan in conjunction with other in-house consultants
- Drive the project team on-site to meet project milestones
- Ensure project team deliver best in class technical consultancy to the client
- Act as client and internal stakeholder liaison
- Manage commercial aspects of all projects including preparation of invoices and budget control of in-house and external consultants
Requirements
- Degree Qualified with related Engineering, Construction or Project Management disciplines
- Not less than 15 years of professional experience
- Middle East project execution experience preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Arabic language advantageous but not essential
