Finance Systems Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading global events business that are going from strength to strength. As a result of continually striving to better their internal procedures and processes they require a Finance Systems Manager to join their Dubai office.

Main responsibilities will be to manage both day to day system operations, and deliver a range of significant improvement initiatives. The primary job purpose will be to manage the daily support and maintenance of the Middle East finance systems, identify information and process requirements, gaps in existing capabilities and define opportunities to build systems based on current and future application platforms that improve the business processes and accelerate critical business strategies.

Key performance indicators include:
- Identifying and implementing product upgrades/ enhancements within the finance applications to meet business needs
- Implement additional accounting and finance related applications
- Prepare users by designing and conducting training programs
- Work with IT staff to maintain the system software, hardware, operating system, and communications
- Diagnose and resolve problems with the application, reports and data

Salary: 20000 - 25000 AED a month

Requirements

The Finance Systems Manager must have an in-depth accounting and finance knowledge and be a competent and pro-active advisor to identify where finance technology can add value to financial processes, controls and procedures.

Required skills:
- Knowledge of Epicore and Salesforce
- Strong analytical and product management skills
