Chief Accountant

Job description / Role

Our client is looking for a Chief Accountant to join their team in Doha. Package circa 15K QR. All candidates must be based in Qatar.

Reporting to the GM & Finance Manager the Chief Accountant will be responsible for:
- Control and preparation of financial and management accounts.
- Ensure accurate reporting of financial activities
- General Ledger management.
- Responsible for closing the books on a timely and accurate basis.
- Review journal entry.
- Implement financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

Accountancy qualification preferred but not essential
Experience in commencing policies and procedures
Strong computer skills - ERP knowledge, advanced MS Excel knowledge
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal are essential
Excellent with time management
Ability to work well in a team
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to communicate at all management levels
Minimum 5 Years work experience
