Distribution Supervisor

Job description / Role

- Daily Delivery planning
- Need to ensure that resources are utilized in optimum manner

Report Required: Daily Delivery Plan for the branch Vehicle Monitoring for optimum utilization with contractors& for driver behavior on drive cam

- Drive cam daily monitoring
- Daily vehicle movement report /RAG report/violation reports
- Diesel consumption monitoring
- Tire monitoring
- Delivery note /GRN /EAR tracking
- Data Accuracy & document control
- Preparation & record keeping of All Gate passes
- Local Exit /entry /custom documents / Permits Renewal & record keeping related to distribution for Sharjah Branch
- Attendance & Overtime monitoring for helpers & drivers
- Weekly report on working hour monitoring/violation
- KPI Reports /Customer delivery reports - Cylinders delivered , Empty collected, No. of trips , running kilometers etc.
- Trip sheet Tracking & consolidation
- Prepare purchase request for transportation and distribution related activities
- Prepare Maintenance request for repair of tanks , vehicles & equipments related to distribution
- Vehicle inspection /Bulk tank Inspection/ Product inspection-Micro bulk Perma/Dura cylinders etc.(need to ensure that inspections are done properly and do random checks)
- Follow up with Drivers & Coordinate with internal sales/ sales team to sort out on day to day delivery issues.
- Record & highlight critical issues like wrong product /leakages etc.
- Monitor & Ensure that Full for empty pattern is followed for all deliveries to customer.
- Tool box meetings/ training of the team.
- Ensure that right product & right qty in right time for all delivery.

Requirements

- At least 3 years experience in Distribution, Logistics or transportation
- Technical and Engineering Degree
- Fluent in English - Arabic is a plus
- Well organized
- Quality of work & reliability
- Self Committed
