OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the authority of the O&M Director, the Procurement Coordinator shall :
- Define and update the framework agreement & internal procedures procurement activities.
- Closely coordinate with Plant managers and Maintenance Support

Manager to:
- Prepare and call for tenders for product/service procurement, evaluate the bids and negotiate contractual terms (prices, delivery time, penalties,.) (based on technical specifications defined by other departments)
- Elaborate framework agreement templates for the supply of Products or Maintenance Services (based on technical specifications defined by other department
- Investigate and identify new suppliers within the UAE and GCC region (with the support of technical department)
- Manage the different procurement stages from the PO to delivery
- Implement and manage a Supplier/Vendor Management System
- Produce reports on the procurement activities
- Coordinate with other affiliates in the GCC region on the procurement activities

Requirements

- Procurement experience of minimum 5 years
- Industry recognized degree in Procurement / Supply Chain Management would be a plus
- Business ethics
- Team spirit.
- Strong interest in understanding technical issues
- Fluent in English: spoken, written, honesty
