Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The person responsible for developing a definition of the project. The Project Manager then ensures that project is completed on time, within budget, and
that project deliverables meet/exceed customer expectations (within agreed specifications). He/she ensures the project is effectively resourced and manages relationships with relevant stakeholders.

The Project Manager is also responsible for utilising resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team. Single point of contact for all the client oriented activities (forecasting, resource planning, quality assurance) Overall plan to deploy the resources needed by the project based on SAP knowledge in each work-stream. Managing the project leads of each area. Centralize and transmit the situation of each subject. Situated in Qatar Offices through all phases of the project with continuous contact between HP

Team and Client Project Managers:
Quality Assurance and Quality Control through ASAP Quality Gates that are elaborated by HP and CLIENT teams, and secure a formal way of specifying and recording the transition between the critical stages in the project lifecycle. Ensure all key deliverables completion and compliance with the recommended practices and to the customer satisfaction. Continuously communicate the process and build quality directly into the project. Apply the necessary tools to effectively manage the project expectation and monitor customer satisfaction.

Analyze with CLIENT project manager the compliance of the established quality gates according to the project schedule, quality, and quantity of resources allocated to the project. Establish team member evaluations and appraisals, manage and develop the human resources, conduct performance evaluations. Detail objectives with resources, and establish templates to periodically monitor performance feedback from the Engagement Manger and CLIENT Project Manager.

Define the project management methodology based on standard Project Management Institute (PMI) and ASAP Methodology. FOLLOWING DETAILS to be developed and agreed between HP and CLIENT within one or two months BEFORE the project starting date:

- Establish the Project Goal to be achieved by HP (to be developed jointly with CLIENT)
- Detail the Solution/Services Description (organizational, functional, development, technical, geographic, and language scope)
- Review the Project Boundaries, specific systems, applications within the project scope (CLIENT Deliverable)
- Initiate the tracker of positive and negative Risks and jointly update with CLIENT
- Review the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) ... CLIENT Deliverable and input to HP for resource planning. Accuracy or this document is key piece for the Engagement Manager in order to anticipate and reserve the pool of resources in medium term.
- Establish the Project Organization structure of individuals to be updated during the project. Direct and manage the resources that HP provides to fulfil the Requisition Orders (managing the overall project remains)
- Overall resourcing and people management activates (logistics arrangement, accommodation, transportation, administration, VISA processing, travel, health cards, etc.)
- Detailed implementation plan for each work package including resource and time estimates, during the project preparation phase within 2 weeks of the project kick-off date, and in compliance with ASAP implementation methodology.
- Effectively act as the pivot point that determines the quality of services provided to CLIENT. Successful initiation of CLIENT engagement and act as the primary subject matter expert in defining the necessary work involved in executing the program.
- Work primarily with the Client, Account SI Delivery Exect, and CLIENT Architect in development, scoping, and planning the program, and ensure alignment with the commitments made to the client.
- Act as in consultative capacity for the client on governance services as they become operational.
- Engage during post contract signature phase to provide expert input (scope, nature, objectives, timescales) for CLIENT
- Contribute to the selection of leaders and consultants for CLIENT, ensuring appropriately qualified and experienced staff are engaged
- Ensure that program team members are acclimated to the specific client solutions, and provide HP best practices
- Maintain ongoing consultative role and ensure ongoing solution alignment to client, portfolio, and capability.

The Project Managers principal interactions are with the following: ABS ASE to escalate issues that requires attention

With clients:
- Continuous status reporting, escalations, dependencies, Change Requests
- Accountable for business sign-off during several stages of the project life-cycle (designs, UAT) for the parts of the technical solution owned by the sub-team
- Scope management
- Deliverable acceptance
- Signoffs for intermediate and final deliverables
