Job description / Role
Warehouse (Project) Supervisor- Erbil, Iraq
POSITION PURPOSE:
Oversee and manage all elements of the Move Ones client dedicated warehouse, and to ensure its efficient operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand clients warehouse operations process flow and and quality expectations through regular training and interaction with client representatives.
- Continuously train full time and part time warehouse staff in conjunction with clients operations process flow and quality expectations.
- Plan, organize, implement and control operations within the warehouse in conjunction with clients operations process flow and quality expectations.
- Meet clients key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiate corrective actions when/where needed.
- Schedule daily activities of inbound / outbound supervisors and warehouse staff.
- Schedule part time staff working hours and overtime approvals.
- Monitor and improve staff productivity throughout all warehousing activities: receiving, piece level handling, picking and outbound processing.
- Ensure the proper staff, facilities/warehousing, uniforms, vehicles and services are in place in order to execute work.Ensure the health and safety requirements are developed, mirrored (from HQ) and managed, including MHE training, licenses etc.
- Perform regular checks on warehouse facilities and equipment/vehicle integrity.
- Report and coordinate repair of any deficiencies.
- Attend client meetings, provide clients with warehouse status updates and collaborate to improve performance.
- Regular reporting to Northern Iraq Manager and Sales account manager.
- Other duties as reasonably assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience working for or within an International Organization is essential.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a warehouse supervisor handling fast moving consumer goods (FMCG).
- Experience with training, scheduling and planning staff for daily warehouse operations.
- Experience performing under KPIs and managing corrective actions to continuously meet clients KPIs.
- Experience working on warehouse management systems.
- Must be deadline driven.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proficient Computer Skills.
PREFERENCES:
- English language knowledge required; Kurdish, Arabic and Turkish language preferred.

- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees, agents and field offices.
