Job description / Role
Objectives: To handle all contracts / back office operations on a day to day basis.
Main responsibilities:
- To issue purchase contracts as required
- To issue sales contract as required
- To be in regular contact with suppliers, customers, shipping companies.
inspection companies etc. to progress and expedite contracts.
- To issue invoices as required
- To issue and negotiate documents under Letters of Credit
- To follow up on payments
- To maintain the files in an orderly way
Reporting to: General Manager
Subordinates: None
Other interactions: CFO, Account Manager
Number required: 1
Duration: Permanent Position
Desired start date: As soon as possible
Probation: 3 months
Working Hours: 9am - 6pm Sat - Wed, 9am - 2.30pm Thurs
Travel requirements: Local travel within Dubai to banks, Chamber of Commerce, port etc.
Gross monthly base salary: To be negotiated
Commission / Bonus: Annnual bonus based on individual and company performance
Other Benefits: To be negotiated
Requirements
Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum two years experience in handling contracts, shipments, documents, Letters of Credit, ideally in steel related products but other backgrounds will also be considered.
Soft Skills and Personality traits:
- Able to communicate in a clear concise way.
- Has the capability to solve logistical problems.
- Ability to "multi-task" with several contract issues at one time.
- Needs to be a good listener and have a calm and organised way of working
Age Range: 22-50
Language Fluency: English speaker essential
