Senior Manager / Manager - Statutory Audit / Assurance (Financial Services) - Kuwait

Position: Senior Manager / Manager - Statutory Audit / Assurance (IFRS, I-GAAP, US GAAP, GAAP, etc.)
Location: Kuwait

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop / maintain strong working relationships with key business decision makers throughout the year to communicate value and inform them of the firm's scope of services.
- Provide guidance/expertise and participate in the performance of audit procedures, especially focusing on complex and/or specialized issues.
- Collaborate to plan objectives and determine an audit strategy that appropriately addresses risk.
- Establish the expectations of the value to be delivered. Successfully monitor the engagement team against the budget, and alter if necessary.
- Identify/communicate relevant trends, developments, and key performance drivers relevant to the client.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the client's industry and marketplace.
- Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team. Successfully delegate to all levels of staff.
- Conduct performance reviews, serve as a positive leader and mentor, and contribute to performance feedback/training.
- Foster teamwork and lead by example.
- Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
- Maintain an educational program to continually develop skills. Maintain cooperative relationships with other engagement teams.
- Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed.
- Generate new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions.
- Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally.

Requirements

Academic Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant CA

- Be a qualified CA.
- Any additional degree would be an added advantage.
- Have 7-12 years experience in audit/ accounting. Clients in line with local/ IFRS/US GAAP experience.
- Have the ability to work under pressure stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours and have the advisory mindset.
- Be willing to travel within India or abroad for continuous period of time.
- Have strong soft skills like interpersonal skills, team skills and communication skills.

Note:
- We are looking for candidates STRICTLY FROM BIG 4.
- Must be working only and only with BIG 4 in the current role.
- Qualified CA/ ACCA/CPA with minimum 7-12 years plus post qualification experience in
- Big4 Audit background.
- Current designation not less than a manager.
