Driving Instructor

Job description / Role

The job holder is entrusted with supervision over the training, teaching to drive cars (Light Duty & Heavy Duty like Truck, Trailer & Bus) with the schools training ranges & outside. He shall also verify the maintenance of the cars, their fitness for training besides maintaining them.

1. Carrying out the training programs, according to the curricula prepared by the competent authorities and the management of the school
2. Teaching the students driving cars in the ranges prepared in & out of the school.
3.Teaching the students the principles of auto-mechanics & auto-electricity, practically & theoretically, within the schools management syllabus.
4.Training the students on how to den with the different traffic signals, coupled with explaining their indications & meanings.
5. Overseeing cars periodic & emergency maintenance & checking cars prior to using them by the trainees.
6. Maintaining the safety of the cars & directing the trainees to use them in the best proper & optimal way.
7.Maintaining the cleanliness of the teaching halls, the training ranges & cars as well.
8. Writing reports on the training courses he is charged with & the standards of students per course.
9. Shall cooperate with the Traffic Department within the limits of powers & authority specified to him.
10. Other similar tasks he shall be entrusted with.

Requirements

Experience:
1. 6 years experiences in the same field.
2. Technical Secondary School or its equivalent, Major: Auto Mechanics.

Skills:
1.Conversant with the English Language.
2.Capable of getting along with other.
3.With valid driving license.
