Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our clients are seeking a number of experienced farm managers to manage large dairy operations (in the Middle East and Russia)

Each herd ranges from 3,000 to 12,000 cow units. These are hands on roles, where the successful candidates will be responsible for the key areas detailed below.

Business Management:
- Manage and oversee all business activities
- Plan and manage all work processes - feeding, milking, equipment maintenance and so on.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and company policies and standards.
- Develop strong working relationship with customers, suppliers, other key staff

Team Management / Leadership:
- Lead your team to maximise success. Manage skills, training and evaluation of staff
- Develop and implement plans for staff development and involvement.

Health and Safety:
- To ensure that at all times work is carried out in a manner which complies with the requirements of the Health & Safety regulations, and the Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
- Manage and report all incidents and participate in H&S improvements

Requirements

- BSc. Agriculture or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 10 years experience and 3 years managing an agri-business
- Team leading and team building experience
