Job description / Role
We are representing a major, international, cost consultancy who have secured a major programme of works on new sports stadia projects across Saudi Arabia.
Key duties include:
- Project specific duties from commencement through to completion
- Planning, monitoring and control of the total project cost
- Preparing initial cost models including benchmarking and whole-life costs
- Preparation of the project cost plan and cost managing the design
- Recommending the necessary procurement strategy
- Devising a comprehensive risk management plan and contingency policy
- Defining change control processes and proactively controlling change
- Preparing tender documentation
- Securing the best price and protecting clients commercial position
- Evaluating tenders and making recommendations
- Communication and information management including quality reporting
Requirements
- Must have a construction related degree qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years working experience in quantity surveying.
- Previous working experience on large scale building/infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
- Proficient in quality report writing.
- Fluent in Arabic is preferred but is not essential.
- Willing to work on a bachelor status in remote locations.
