Technical Service Manager

Our Client is a global water technology provider; their technology solutions transports, treat, test and efficiently uses water in municipal utility, commercial and residential building services, industrial and agricultural settings. They operate out five continents through a number of market leading brands, headquarters are in the USA, with revenues totaling $4 billion (2013); and 12,500 employees worldwide.

They are currently recruiting for a Technical Service Manager to responsible for the execution and follow-up on sales activities for their pump spare parts and services division for the MENA region. Located out of their Dubai offices, you will be responsible for supporting staff and local service partners with the aftermarket and sales activities relating to submersible pumps.

Report directly to the GM, you will:

Functions:
- Support distributors and end-users with the development of the submersible pump aftermarket service business
- Provide technical on-site support (commissioning, start-up, maintenance, trouble shooting etc.)
- Provide service training for distributors, service partners and end-users
- Conduct review visits to distributor workshops, end users and service partners to understand market needs.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact within the regional sales territory
- Provide support and product demonstrations in coordination with the sales team
- Actively participate and provide input in the development of the strategic and operating plan

Requirements

- A degree in mechanical engineering or related technical qualification
- Minimum.10 years mechanical experience of the installation, commissioning, trouble shooting, start-up, servicing of submersible pumps
- Fluent in English (essential)
- Arabic, both spoken and written (desirable)
- French (preferable)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
