Employment: Full Time

We are currently looking for an IT Governance Expert. This role will provide leadership on service performance and governance whilst working closely with IT Manager and other stakeholders. The person will drive performance through continuous service improvements and ongoing capability development.

The role is varied and challenging at times, but would suit a passionate, service focused professional with the ability to work autonomously. A high degree of initiative, with the perseverance to see challenges through to successful resolution is essential in this role. You will be reporting to IT Manager who will mentor you in your personal development and career progression.

Job responsibilities include:
1. Prepare and deploy IT business alignment initiatives.
2. Participate in strategic and operational governance processes.
3. Plan IT strategic and operational initiatives to achieve company goals by fostering innovation.
4. Coordinate, evaluate, and deploy the current and future IT systems across the organization.
5. Participate in preparing of IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures.
6. Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development.
7. Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments.
8. Develop, track, and control the information technology annual operating and capital budgets.
9. Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
10. Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
11. Driving continuous improvement and managing risk across the development, transition and operations phases of the life-cycle.
12. Measurement and reporting of performance and correlation of the issue to tools, process or team capabilities that need improvement or risks that may need to be remedied.
13. Management of governance framework and remediation of Audit findings.
14. Advise on IT areas with a view to standardizing approaches and tools.

Requirements

1. ITIL (Expert or Service Manager.
2. BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
2. Proven Quality Management experience.
3. COBIT or other ICT governance experience.
4. Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management teams.
