Product Manager - Moving Services - Dubai, UAE
POSITION PURPOSE:
This role is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the product life cycle for their product (s). The incumbent must work closely with members of the marketing department, sales, sales support and operations to ensure continuity and growth in product offerings and company goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct and perform all aspects of product development, product changes and product promotion, including development procedures, specifying components and packaging; product positioning; pricing and training aides.
- Manage and communicate sales information and product changes both internally and externally.
- Regularly perform pricing and competitive analysis by customer channel and recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality and reduce costs.
- Produce, maintain and update annual forecast.
- Develop and maintain product database with product specifications.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to help facilitate timely completion of projects.
- Represents Move One as the expert in the specified product line
- Responsible for technical support to sales of new and ongoing business. Coordinates all technical requirements to support the efforts of the Sales department.
- Gather information from prospective customers and develop products that meet customer needs.
- Responsible for increasing the profitability of existing products and developing new products for the company.
- Contributes to project proposals and RFP responses, including proofing estimation and resource requirements.
- Develop and implement training modules, performance management indicators, bonus programs and measures for employees that are operating the product.
- Liaise with other support functions in the organization (i.e. HSSE) to assure that the products life cycle is compliant and efficient with the companys policies and procedures as well as in the territory it is being conducted.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years product knowledge in the industry.
- Minimum 5 years operations experience.
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to schedule and lead meetings with a broad range of people.
- Strong attention to detail and appreciation of deadlines is essential.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize their importance.
- High level proficiency in Power point and Excel (preferred).
