Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leader in the provision of tools, applications and leading technology to the construction industry. They are now looking for a Sales Director to develop, implement and monitor local sales plans and programs, support the overall strategic sales growth & profitability, and develop people within the team.

Responsibilities:
- Planning and management of sales territories, achievement of targets based on profitable potential and effective sales territory management.
- To utilise all elements of the Sales Management Process to effectively analyse, implement and control the opportunities within territory.
- To actively manage and develop the growth of key products within the sales territory.
- To target the appropriate customer groups to ensure successful introduction of new products.
- To work with Engineering Management, Finance Management, Market Management, Product Management and other members of Sales Management team to ensure a consistent approach to business throughout the Company.
- To ensure timely collection of all the dues / overdues.
- To support execution of special projects.
- To ensure your knowledge and skills are continuously developed for the benefit of both yourself and the company.

Principal Accountabilities and Measuring:
- Profitable Sales
- Customer Platform Management
- Product penetration
- Recruitment and development

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in construction, engineering or similar
- 12+ years solid Sales experience
- People management
- Exceptional organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- A can do attitude and the willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks required to meet the daily demands of the business
- Works well under pressure and thrives on responsibility

Candidates MUST be available on 1 month notice or less.

- True sales leadership
- Team management and development of teams of 10 sales people or more
- A successful track record in self and team sales
- Managing high volume sales orders
- Managing sales budgets in excess of 20-30M AED
