Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Oversees and directs all functions of accounting, treasury, financial planning and forecasts, credit control, insurance, legal and claims, information technology, quality assurance, health and safety, personnel and administration
- Plans, directs, and coordinates Business Services operational activities at the highest level of management with the help of subordinate managers
- Directs activities of Business Services to plan procedures, establish responsibilities, and coordinate functions among departments.
- Determines and formulates policies and business strategies and provides recommendation for overall direction of the Company.
- Effectively implements Business Services policies and objectives in accordance with senior management.
- Analyzes services to evaluate performance of each department under Business Services and their staff and to determine areas of development and services improvement.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships and networks among the departments under the Business Services, by contributing and encouraging an environment where high quality is achieved and supported by quality delivery systems and business improvement.
- Assists the Group Director Business Services with the preparation of the Companys budget and administers day to day financial matters.
- Supports the Group Director Business Services in reviewing annual budget / cash flow, monthly management accounts, cash flow and variance analysis. i.e., to ensure Financial Systems are developed and executed for facilitating key management decisions.
- Ensures best practice efforts in all financial management and control related practices including directing and control of financial reporting and regulatory requirement. Maintains close monitoring of revenues and costs and promptly address any exceptions and variations.
- Ensures timely and proper information flow to ensure proper coordination with legal, public relations and other internal involvement.
- Coordinates a wide variety of accounting and financial statistical data and reports.
- Supports the Group Director Business Services in monitoring of revenues and costs and promptly addressing any exceptions and variations.
- Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding the financial impact of investment opportunities including mergers, acquisition, new projects etc
- Develops financial and commercial strategy for business negotiations and communications.
- Coordinates with External Auditors / international firms and Consultants on IFRS audit, Due Diligence and business valuation etc.
- Oversees the structuring and maintenance of internal controls within the organization, to ensure compliance with the Companys policies, procedures, process and internal controls for the Company.
- Reviews and oversees the activities of the Company's Insurance and Claims Department towards the Companys insurance requirements and in connection with settlement of claims and other related matters
- Successfully associates with planning, coordination and implementation of various computer controls and programs related with accounting, finance, administration and operational activities of the Company.
- Ensures professional and ethical financial practices and a cohesive finance service offering which is aligned with business strategy and Group Finance strategy, so as to ensure the functionality and sustained profitability of the group.
- Ensures HR Development Projects in the various sections of the HR Department are implemented according to plan and provides management reports to Top Management on health of company from an HR perspective, as well as activity, performance and projects of HR team.
- Oversees all QHSE activities throughout the company, including conducting internal quality audits and setting quality objectives, overseeing the implementation of quality management systems.
- Oversees the Purchase and Stores activities ensuring the right procurement strategy is set and that the required products are supplied with desired specifications and in the exact time, monitoring the storing conditions, operations and capacity and managing the shipping operations, so as to ensure that these activities are in line with policies and procedures
- Responsible for the Performance Management of all team members
- Performs other duties as required

Requirements

- At least 10-15 years of business management experience
- Degree in Business Management or Chartered Accountant (CA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Strong, result-orientated with well-developed leadership, communication skills and Interpersonal skills.
- Business Management experience in Finance, Accounting, Cost Control, System Review & Analysis, Internal Control, Internal Audits, Business Management
- Experienced to multitask and handle multiple priorities with strong Project Management, Organisation and Problem Solving skills along with experience and ability of working under pressure situations.
- Result-orientated with well-developed leadership and communication.
- Excellent Business Acumen
