Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Identify clients for potential sales of Water Treatment Systems (Sea Water/ Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis desalination systems, Ultra Filtration, Nano Filtration, Sewage treatment), Spares, Consumables and Annual Maintenance Contracts. Execute and achieve sales in accordance with budgeted and agreed targets.

New Business
- Identify potential clients and develop client relationships.
- Visit clients in line with sales plan and targets. Make presentation about the products / solutions to potential clients.
- Plan for, organize and meet the sales targets.
- Provide weekly reports on potential sales, market information, clients and leads.
- Follow-up with selected potential clients identified from the enquiry / order register, initiate contact, assess and confirm their requirements.
- Promptly respond to all enquiries / service related complaints.
- Coordinate with the engineering department and provide technical clarifications and responses to client queries.
- Handle negotiations, Close sales with clients, in line with approved margin and pricing policy.

After Sales Services
- Follow up with all clients to ensure client satisfaction on products and service quality and prompt payment of accounts receivables.
- Obtain and analyze client feedback and promptly act upon any dissatisfaction to initiate preventive action to resolve the complaint.
- Explore opportunities for Annual maintenance contracts and for sales of consumables and spares.

Requirements

- Should have a keen interest in a career in industrial sales and marketing in a small to mid size engineering company.
- Interest in being associated with the water industry.
- Should be a self starter with the self confidence to be able to work independently.
- Should have the following competencies

- Excellent networking ability.
- Analytical skills
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Should have excellent sales skills.
- Should have a good technical inclination and be curious about new technologies and products.
- The role will call for a lot of international travel.
- 5 - 10 years experience in sales of high value industrial equipment in the Middle East . Exposure in selling in the marine / oil and gas environments will be an advantage.
- Should have a degree in Engineering.
