Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Apply psychological principles and techniques to educational programs and address learning and developmental and behavioral issues.
- Provide mental health services to assist clients of all ages with personal or interpersonal problems.
- Work with students both individually and in groups.
- Run observations in schools when needed for a childs case.
- Have weekly counseling sessions with the referred kids.
- Provide regular meetings to update parents about their childs process.
- Offer parents recommendations that help with their childs therapy.
- Have contact with the childs school when needed through meetings, phone calls and emails.

Requirements

- Document the childs progress in notes, and charts if needed.
- Keep counseling cases confidential and never give information about the child to any person not related in the childs therapy process.
- Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, therapist, trainers, therapists and clients.
- Participation and attendance to client clinic team meetings (which includes taking detailed clinic meeting minutes/notes).
