Trade Development Manager - North America and Europe to U.A.E.

Responsibility and accountability for the continuous development, growth and profitability of companys North America & Europe to UAE Sea Freight Trade. Core responsibilities cover the development of key accounts and other clients, develop market segmentation strategies & sales initiatives, alignment of business development strategy, delivery of appropriate solutions, establishing knowledge-sharing within the respective teams and generation of clear and consistent measurement and tracking.

- Creation, communication and execution of North America & Europe to UAE Sea freight Trade Development Strategy. Development of the North America & Europe to U.A.E. Trade in with the TEU and GP targets set.
- Sea Freight Trade business growth and development. Further Development and retention of existing customer base and focus on new customer development.
- Initiate market segmentation, customer clusters, and marketing initiatives to stimulate successful Sea Freight Trade development for North America & Europe to UAE.
- Identification of regional key target accounts at all levels.
- Taking appropriate corrective actions when concerns on business and customer delivery arise.
- Providing feedback on the creation and enhancement of product suites using personal knowledge and interactions with key clients.
- Knowledge sharing and engagement to ensure teams are up-to-date in critical information relating to Sea Freight Trade development.
- Adherence to all company compliance, legal, human resources, environmental, ISO, Security and health and safety procedures and standards.

Requirements

- Relevant Degree/Diploma
- Land transportation, Logistics, Supply chain, Forwarding
- Sea freight Logistics
- Customs clearance
- Sales & Business Development
- Leadership & Focus - focused, pro-active and self-motivated to support the Kuehne + Nagel organization.
- Knowledge - Industry expert who has detailed knowledge of North America & Europe to UAE Sea Freight Trade development.
- Analysis and Process - able to analyze data and reports and design, enhance and steer processes.
- Customer Orientation - develops collaborative and trusting relationships internally or together with sales staff in customer organization.
- Teamwork - able to build team spirit.
