Due to continued success in the region we are now seeking a Risk Analyst to join our already established team in Qatar.

Risk Analyst will hold the following responsibilities and duties:
- Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will be responsible for assisting in ensuring that risks associated with the delivery of project programme are identified assessed and responses to risks are implemented. We are therefore currently seeking a capable and experienced Risk Analyst to provide support within our Project Assurance team.

Key Tasks:
- Assist in the establishment and delivery of an effective risk management framework, implementation thereof and progress reporting by adopting standards and best practice.
- Responsible for the risk register content quality, accuracy, changes and version control
- Carry out quantitative risk analysis.
- Conduct qualitative analysis to evaluate risk by using statistical software i.e. (at)Risk & MS excel
- Assist stakeholders to assess strategic risks.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, Ministerial departments, and working groups.
- Advise on risk management and produce risk management progress reports i.e. Dashboards
- Assist in setting out the risk management team priorities.
- Assist in providing risk management training and guidance to clients, internal & external (if required).
- Assist the risk and cost team with other related tasks (as needed).

Requirements

- Degree in relevant subject (i.e. Risk, Construction or Engineering) or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years direct risk management experience
- Knowledge in development of regional/country wide risk strategies
- Experience of working within large scale or complex projects
- Knowledge or working within a construction environment (contractor, consultancy or equivalent domain)
- Knowledge of construction related risks

- Able to liaise, engage and communicate with Programme/Project Managers, Stakeholders, Engineering Professionals and Specialists at all levels
- Able to drive and embrace Change Management in established working practices
- Strong influencing skills
- Have excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Able to think laterally, visualise constraints and develop innovative solutions
- Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentational skills
