We are currently working in partnership with a Global MNC, who are a market leader within the Food and Beverage Industry. Working with this organisation will allow you to take on a challenging opportunity and further develop yourself to progress within your career. My client are searching for a Manufacturing Team Leader based in Dubai, UAE who has the ability to manage large, diverse teams and has experience of developing and implementing a strong Continuous Improvement / Lean culture within a Food and Beverage manufacturing business. This position will require you to work on a continuous shift pattern as per business demands.

This role will require you to:
- Work cross-functionally to ensure productivity levels are at their most efficient levels and the product quality is consistent throughout the entire process.
- Implement and drive a Continuous Improvement and Lean culture throughout the team.
- Lead daily meetings with you team in order to clarify relevant expectations and objectives in addition to overcoming any issues raised.
- Manage and review the daily output figures to ensure agreed KPI targets are achieved in relation to cost, quality, safety, hygiene and customer service.
- Conduct regular Performance Appraisals with your team to ensure they are motivated and are developing effectively.
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery is operational and in good working order.

In order to be effective within this role you will require strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, you will have experience of building successful teams whilst promoting a positive culture and environment for people to work in.

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have at least 5 years experience within the Food and Beverage Industry with an Engineering background. An advantage would be to have an entry level managerial qualification gained from the FMCG sector.
