Job description / Role
To ensure Oryx GTLs SAP HR & Payroll systems, as well as, respective data integrity activities are in line with respective business processes while providing high availability standards to end users.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
SAP Application:
- Accountable and responsible for day-to-day local IT support in the domain of Business Applications SAP HR & Payroll in order to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness of the same.
- Update and amend module functionality to ensure that SAP is able to meet user information requirements on an ongoing basis and that respective module continue to reflect business processes.
- Participate in technical designs, prototyping, configuration, system and necessary testing of the SAP HR & Payroll module in order to ensure alignment of the same with the respective business processes.
SAP HR & Payroll Procurement Process:
- Provide input during the procurement of SAP HR & Payroll resources from a technical aspect whilst adhering to Oryx GTLs policies to ensure an uninterrupted delivery of quality goods and / or services in a cost effective manner.
- Contribute towards the interpretation of the technical aspect during the procurement process with SAP HR & Payroll service providers through the request for proposal developments or competition invitation documents, as need be, in order to remain abreast with Oryx GTLs needs.
SAP Systems Performance and Monitoring:
- Plan and incorporate the process of SAP HR & Payroll activities onto current systems so as to ensure a seamless integration.
SAP Systems Integrity and Security:
- Plan, execute and implement SAP systems and data integrity related activities in order to safeguard Oryx GTLs information and ensure high availability standards are preserved.
Managing User Requirements:
- Align SAP HR & Payroll solutions with business requirements in order to draw on existing applications and / or set effective and cost efficient alternative routes.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 5 to 7 Years of Experience in the same/similar role (preferably in Oil & Gas industry).
- Robust knowledge of SAP respective functional module theory and protocols.
