National Direct Sales and Distribution Manager - Kenya

Millar Cameron are representing a leading FMCG company, who are currently looking for a National (DSD) Direct Sales and Distribution Manager in Kenya.

The National Direct Sales and Distribution (DSD) Manager will drive and manage a large van sales operation within Kenya to achieve budgeted and targeted sales volumes and revenue. You will be responsible for the execution of an aggressive growth plan involving the increased daily sales of the FCMG product range.

The responsibilities of the National Direct Sales and Distribution (DSD) Manager will be:
- Lead a team which will consist of four direct reports and an extensive number of vans across Kenya
- Develop the National Direct Route to Market Plan both in short term and long term
- Coordinate the van selling activities and adjust routes to meet customer needs and improve efficiency
- Continuously assess, and take corrective measures where appropriate, across key indicators that will drive vans sales growth, including calls per day, success rate, vans downtime, etc.

Requirements

- Experience in FMCG sales, ideally in a van sales environment
- Sales experience in at least two geographical areas of Kenya
- Ideally degree-educated
