Legal Secretary

Job description / Role

Our client is an internationally recognized law firm. Due to expansion they are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to provide a wide range of secretarial support.

You will be required to support one partner, one associate and the business development director. In this multi-national practice, a cooperative and flexible approach is essential.

Requirements

- You must have proven experience drafting, amending and producing long documents at 100% accuracy and at a fast pace.
- Western trained
- Knowledge to resolve complicated formatting issues, emailing documents, charts and tables etc; PowerPoint; Database (or similar client database)
- Proficient in the use of Dictaphone Machine and the ability to transcribe long, lengthy complicated documentation would be an advantage
- Experience of law firms and secretarial responsibilities as a Legal Secretary
- Understands sometimes complicated filing systems
- Ability to optimise time, particularly when fee earners are absent
