Sap/Cost Coordinator

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Participate in early project activities related to reviewing/upgrading contractor's cost control organization and procedures.

- Set up a project cost control system in SAP.
- One point coordinator to interact with IT(SAP team) for all system requirement from project division
- Focal point for all SAP User authorization and access requirements within projects
- Responsible for maintaining and cleaning all the transaction documents in SAP system in addition of creation/change of these documents
- Provide cost variance analysis report from SAP system
- Monitor and appraise project elements outside the contractor's responsibility

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 6 years project controls associated experience
- Experience on large-scale oil/gas and petrochemical capital projects
- SAP exposure with understanding of SAP functionality
- Knowledge of SAP procurement cyde, accounts payable and projects costing
- Demonstrated ability and functional knowledge of electronic cost control tools, including
- spreadsheets and data base tools (Access)
- Demonstrated strong technical competence in the area of cost control, tracking, forecasting and reporting
- Ability to interpret cost and schedule data and prepare long and short range forecasts
- Ability to interpret cost and progress data to verify contractor claimed progress.
