Chief Technology Officer -Riyadh, Saudi Arabia -Competitive salary + benefits
A well established financial establishment in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia are looking to appoint a Chief Technology Officer to lead a large in-house development team.
This role will be reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer therefore the successful candidate must have prior project/team lead experience, proven Java development lead and an understanding of enterprise architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Directing the day to day operations of the IT application development department.
- Ensure targets and objectives are achieved.
- Ensure delivery of required products on time.
- Manage + perform maintenance requests.
Please note that this role will be leading a Java development team so it is essential that you have proven Java development experience at a team lead, head of development or CTO level.
Requirements
- Project/People management skills in retail banking (Medium to large teams)
- Strong technical knowledge with IBM Mainframe operating systems (z/OS, CICS and COBOL).
- Proven Java application experience (Java, J2ee, EJB and Servlet) at a team lead/head of development level.
- Knowledge of Tandem/ACI, Swift and MasterCard network.
- Enterprise architecture experience.
