Retail Risk Head - Egypt

My client, a leading bank in Egypt is seeking a robust risk professional to join the business as Retail Risk Head.

The key responsibilities of the job holder include:
* Design & implementation of the retail risk strategy
* Manage the complete credit cycle covering; policy, MIS, CIC, CCRD, Fraud, Quality, external vendors etc for all products across the International Banking Group
* Ensuring Risk Charge is as agreed in overall plan
* Ensure policy formulation and other credit functions support healthy business growth. Book building and revenue generation will be a key role
* Responsible for audit & controls within risk units of all markets across Egypt that the bank operates within

Requirements

* University graduate
* Minimum of 12 years banking experience within retail risk management
* At least 6 years of exposure as head of credit cycle covering all retail & SME products
* Strong credit risk background covering retail and SME products
* Superb communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong quantitative skills
* Preferably an Egyptian national due to regulatory requirements
