Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a highly renowned GCC Bank whose head office is located in the heart of Doha. Our client is looking to hire an Arabic speaking Training Specialist / Trainer who will manage the career development plans of all employees.
Reporting to the Head of Training and Development, you will collaborate with all business units and management. You will prepare career development plans to include formal and OJT training needs for long and short term business requirements encompassing graduate and junior level employee programs. You will also monitor and assess performance and progress, identifying and responding to any needs for intervention. In addition, you will manage the training calendar and monthly reporting as well as provide support to the Head of Training and Development with all internal, external and e-learning programs. You will also oversee the logistics for training, seminars and workshops.
Requirements
The successful candidate should hold a Degree in either HR or Business, Banking, Finance with a specialisation in HR. You should have at least 5 years experience in a training / career development role with at least 2 to 3 years within the GCC banking sector. It would also be highly advantageous if you hold a certified trainer instructor qualification. You should be capable, driven and ambitious and have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills from within a multicultural environment. It is essential you are fluent in both written and spoken English and Arabic. Our client has stated a preference for a Qatari National.
