Patent Attorney

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a highly renowned regional law firm. Our client is expanding their patent team across the computer, mechanical / electrical engineering and life sciences (pharmaceutical, healthcare) divisions and is looking to hire a Patent Attorney.

You will manage the preparation of patent applications for filing in the Middle East, US, EP as well as under the PCT. You will handle the prosecution of patent applications both regionally and internationally to include the preparation of response to office actions. You will also manage patent portfolios, conduct patent searches and prepare patentability, FTO and validity opinions.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have over 4 years experience and presently be a Patent Attorney or Patent Agent. You should be fluent in both written and spoken English and have a background in computing, mechanical / electrical engineering or one of the life sciences.
