Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Create company literature and other forms of communication.
- Create marketing communication materials, both print and electronic.
- Work with advertisers for timely and useable ad submissions,
- Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications.
- Work with manager and business units to determine event budget and manage expenses to that budget.
- Promote products and services through public relations initiatives.
- Develop strategic marketing communications plan and execute it.
- Create thought leadership materials.
- Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals.
- Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
- Research media coverage and industry trends.
- Develop fresh story ideas.
- Conduct extensive media outreach.
- Prepare briefing materials.
- Coordinate conference, and press interviews.
- Manage information.
- Prepare agendas and conduct research

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in media
- Experience in Oil and Gas, Sustainability, or Refining and Petrochemicals industry
- Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills
- Working experience in the Oman or GCC countries
- Good knowledge of online media
- Knowledge of refining and petrochemicals market trends and conditions
- Positive attitude with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Excellent writing and speaking skills in English
- BS in Communications, Marketing, English Language/Literature, or Public Relations
