Chief Surveyor (Arab Nationality)

Job description / Role

Perform field surveying to obtain data fro base plans as well as construction setting out and boundary surveys. Manage the surveyors at site and the draftsman's in the office. Prepare shop drawings of all infrastructure and roads and the as built drawings as per the defined requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize and direct the work of one or more surveyors engaged in surveying
- Plan, organize and direct the work of one or more draftsmen engaged in production of the shop drawings and the as built drawings
- Research previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence and other records to obtain data needed for surveys
- Perform project research, boundary calculations and record accuracy of survey data, notes and sketches
- Determine methods and procedures for establishing or reestablishing survey control
- Keep accurate notes, records and sketches to describe and certify work performed
- Coordinate findings with work of engineering personnel, clients and others concerned with the project
- Ensure the preparation of the shop drawings in accordance with the defined requirements
- Ensure the preparation of the as built drawings in accordance with the defined requirements
- Manage the performance of all their team members
- Perform other duties as required

Requirements

- Educational Requirements: BSc/BA Degree or Equivalent Survey/Civil Engineer
- Experience Required: Minimum of 7 years
with experience in roads and Highways and GCC experience
- Skills Required: AutoCAD, Civil 3d
