Job description / Role
Credit Analyst - Consumer / Retail Banking - Abu Dhabi
As part of ADCB's Credit Initiation Unit, these roles would report to the Team Leader Credit, and would be focused on evaluating customer profiles & applications seeking retail credit facilities, ensuring quality evaluation on all applications within the agreed turnaround times.
- Evaluate customer profiles in line with ADCB credit policies and procedures.
- Ensure quality evaluation on all applications with the agreed TAT.
- Follow the escalations as approved and directed by the DLA & Deviation Matrix.
- Maintain a 0% processing error rate as processor and checker.
- Escalate suspicious activities identified during applications evaluation on document formats or information gathered on CPV.
- Participate actively in unit monthly meetings through suggestions on process improvements and market information.
- As and when required, handle tasks/activities that are outside the regular application evaluation role.
Requirements
- University graduate - Finance/Accounting-related degree or specialization preferred.
- At least 3 years of exposure to (and strong understanding of) the Retail Credit environment.
- Analytical experience preferred, with sound judgement and eye for details.
