Assistant Manager - Group Risk Management
AED 15,000 - AED 18,000 per month, plus benefits

Our client, a leading organisation in the UAE is looking for an Assistant Manager - Group Risk Management to join their growing team in Dubai.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for analysing, collecting, storing and managing data for credit risk model/strategy development purposes, as well as the implementation (both system and off-line in SAS) and periodic execution of credit risk models and strategies for all retail asset portfolios.

Another area of your role is to liaise with IT - Business Partner and IT Development and regular tasks will include: preparing data requirement proposals, data UAT, vetting IT solutions, validating monthly data submissions made by IT etc.

The selected candidate will regularly update, maintain as well as further enhancing the retail portfolio data marts (in SAS) internal to risk department and co-ordinate with IT in extraction of new data/fields from source systems.

Requirements

In order to be qualified for this role, you should have a Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science and Engineering with at least 2-3 years of experience in retail lending business, data management, credit risk scorecards or related fields.

The preferred candidate must also have experience using SAS, VBA, SQL as well as knowledge of retail banking.
