Assistant Sales Manager - Chemicals
Salary: up to AED12, 000 based on experience plus incentives and standard company benefits
Location: Dubai

Our Client a corporation in Asia operating for more than 100 years with many subsidiaries, is starting up their chemical business in the UAE with the intention of expanding throughout the region.

Their presence in more than 50 countries, with interests in Import, export, manufacturing across a wide range of product and services including automobile, consumer goods, forestry, energy and chemicals.

Due to their growth forecasted in the Chemical division within the region, our client is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the team and ultimately develop into the Sales Manager role for the region.


Key Role to create Chemical business in the Middle East and Africa, supporting the General Manager of Chemical Dept. Develop the current business within the petrochemical industry.

Key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Target companies whom will use the product range
- Research the market with regards to chemical product needs
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns for product awareness
- Achieve KPI`s as set by the General Manager
- Report on market share and requirements

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Graduates from Birla Institute of Technology or Manipal Institute of Technology are preferred
- MBA would be an advantage
- Currently in the UAE
- No sales experience is acceptable as training will be provided.
- Knowledge of the petrochemical industry would be an advantage
- High level of Independence and initiative
- Leadership skills
- Ability to be mentored and trained
- Passionate about success and self improvement
- Excellent team player
