Enterprise Architect

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading global company within Oil & Gas in the UAE. Global Access Recruitment is now recruiting an Enterprise Architect to join their well established & reputed organisation. The ideal candidate has experience of working within the Oil & Gas sector in the UAE.

Tasks:
* Manage requirements.
* Review requirements and release technical RtPs.
* Support tendering process with procurement.
* Coordinate technical proposal evaluation.
* Establish and manage New HQ architecture master plan.
* Develop and execute audit strategy.
* Define and facilitate overall integration and migration strategy.
* Oversee and align design and implementation of all packages.
* Review and approve all projects deliverables and changes.
* Review and align warranty and maintenance procedures and timelines.
* Ensure smooth go-live of projects and migration.
* Ensure the required operational support is established at go-live.

Responsibilities:
* Achieving business boas by designing and building high caliber solutions accruing to standers best technologies.
* Advising on technical solutions, standard integration metrologies and the alignment of business and technology.
* Arranging alignment meeting between technical people and business/functional stakeholders.
* Checking conformance to standards and architectural decision
* Designing system, applications, solutions and integration projects
* Distributing architectural vision, goals, standards, decisions and justifications of them to all affected stakeholders.
* Identifying technical risks and problems in the design, implementation and at run-time.
* Liaising between multiple development teams and between developers, team leaders, project managers and end users.
* Maintaining high caliber enterprise architecture that's meets the current and future needs.
* Managing the design phase and any effort that's maintain the architecture or design decisions.
* Preparing structure, behaviour and patterns descriptions and models for the designed solutions/system.
* Supervising designers and developers in teams of technology and design decisions.

Requirements

* Bachelor degree or similar experience.
* At least 10 years IT Architecture experience.
* Experience across technical domains, e.g network, storage, server, help desk, data centre, telco.
* TOGAF (or similar) Certified.
* Experience in similar projects (preferred in the region).
* Very good English business, technical communication and negotiation skills.
